Cozy Apple Cider Crumble

Ingredients

  • 4 medium apples, peeled, cored, and sliced

  • 1 cup apple cider

  • 1 tbsp apple pie spice

  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1/2 cup old-fashioned oats

  • 1/4 cup butter, melted

  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar

Directions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the sliced apples, apple cider, apple pie spice, brown sugar, and lemon juice. Stir well until the apples are evenly coated, then transfer this mixture to a greased 9-inch baking dish.

  3. In another bowl, mix together the flour, oats, granulated sugar, and melted butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. This will be your crumble topping.

  4. Sprinkle the crumble topping evenly over the apple mixture in the baking dish.

  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the apples are bubbly and the topping is golden brown. You should be able to smell the warm spices and apples as it bakes!

  6. Remove from the oven and let it cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.
