The original GlowUP sponsorship campaign is over. It was successful. And our new packages are beautiful!

But here’s the thing...

People have been SO excited by them, they WANT IN! (or more accurately ON)

People immediated started asking how they could participate before this Xmas. Telling us they’d love to sponsor a Lex’s Pantry spice blend and were sad they had missed out.

So Lex did the math.

We can open one more small round of GlowUP sponsorships, but it will only work with a minimum 10 paid sponsors by end of day October 13.

Right now we have: 

• 8 people committed,
• sponsorship purchases are OPEN.

So, now we need at least 10 paid sponsorships by end of day October 13.

If we get them, Wave 2 proceeds.

If we don’t, the numbers don’t work for 2026 and it doesn’t happen. Simple.

If fewer than 10 paid sponsorships are in place when we close on October 13, refunds will be issued on October 15.

WHAT DOES A SPICE SPONSOR GET?

For $200, you sponsor 1 available Lex’s Pantry spice blend.

Your sponsorship includes:

• sponsor recognition on the first print run of 500 bags of your sponsored spice

• one of: your name, business name, website, or social handle (see photo examples) 

• one image: your logo or photo (see photo examples of Lex's mom, Bradford Farmers' Market & Lucy's Creative)

• 5 regular-sized bags of your sponsored blend 

• a shareable 10% discount code for your sponsored spice to share with your friends, family and followers.

You can sponsor as yourself, your business, your favourite non-profit or as a gift, in someone else’s name.

The first GlowUP wasn’t theoretical.

It happened.

Our customers and sponsors funded the move from individually hand-labelled packaging to professionally printed Lex’s Pantry bags.

We picked up 15,448 new bags, including custom packaging for 21 blends plus 4 category bags.

They’re now on our market tables, in select retailers and shipping out with online orders.

So with Wave 2, you don’t have to imagine what you’re sponsoring.

WHY IS THERE A WAVE 2?

We didn't originally plan one. The original Sponsor Your Spice campaign funded the big packaging GlowUP. That project is done.

But then people saw the bags at markets and started telling us they were disappointed to have missed their chance to sponsor a spice. 

One person.
Then another.
Then another.
Then one of Lex's cousins... 

So Lex did some math. Lex loves math. She worked out whether another small print run was possible.

It is! 

If, and only if, we have at least 10 paid sponsorships BEFORE end of day October 13.

Fewer than that and the cost per bag becomes impractical. Later than that, the logistics become impossible. 

So that’s the window:

10+ sponsors locked in by end of day October 13.

WHAT WAS THE ORIGINAL GLOWUP?

For over 3 years, every Lex’s Pantry bag was labelled by hand.

And when we say labelled by hand, we mean hundreds and hundreds of labels at a time. 2 per bag. Hours spent just labelling. 

The GlowUP moved us to custom printed packaging.

That means less time spent sticking labels on bags and more time making spices, filling orders, developing recipes and doing all the other things involved in running Lex’s Pantry.

The sponsorship campaign helped pay for the design and printing required to make that change.

Our sponsors became part of the first production run, with their names or businesses, and photos or logos appearing on the bags they sponsored.

And apparently some of you looked at those bags and thought:

Wait. I wanted to do that.

Which is how we got here.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What happens if we don’t get 10 paid sponsors by October 13?

Wave 2 won’t happen.

If fewer than 10 paid sponsorships are in place by end of day October 13, we’ll issue refunds on October 15 and turn our attention to other urgent things.

We may look at another round in 2027 when we start running low on packaging.

Maybe.

When do I pay?

Sponsorship purchases are open.

Choose your blend and purchase your $200 sponsorship.

As soon as we reach 10 paid sponsors, Wave 2 is HAPPENING, and Lex will contact everyone with the next steps.

If we have fewer than 10 paid sponsorships at the end of October 13, Lex will issue refunds on October 15.

How much is sponsorship?

$200 per spice you sponsor.

How many sponsorships will there be?

A minimum of 10 and a maximum of 22.

When will I receive my sponsored bags?

If Wave 2 goes ahead, your sponsor bags will be delivered before Christmas. We will need info from you, then we'll be moving FAST! (luckily Sinclair Packaging works fast too)

Can I choose any Lex’s Pantry blend?

Wave 2 will include all the currently unsponsored blends, the list is under "Choose Your Blend to Sponsor" 

If you don't have a preference, please chose "Mystery Blend", it will allow us to customize the blend that can use it the most. (Generally the highest selling blends to minimize stickering.) 

Sponsorships are first-come, first-served, so once a blend is sponsored, it’s gone.

Can I sponsor in someone else’s name?

Yes.  

If you sponsor in someone else's name - as a gift or surprise, we will need to be 100% sure we can use the image your provide on our package. 

If you sponsor in the name of a charity or organisation or someone else's business, we will need to check with them if it's okay to use their name and logo on our packaging. 

You can sponsor as yourself, your business or in someone else’s name,  subject to our Sponsorship Content & Conduct Policy

What appears on the bag?

• One of: your name, business name, website, or social handle.
• one image: either a logo or photo.
